D. Fallon Building Design (DFBD) is the architectural consultancy wing of our company. It is part of the wider D Fallon Consulting Group (DFCG). DFBD provides architectural, master planning, assigned certifier , design certifier and other related services to projects nationwide for blue-chip public and private sector clients.

Architectural Services

DFBD delivers architectural design services to clients within time and on budget. Architectural services can be delivered as part of a multi-disciplinary design team, thereby providing a one-stop shop for clients.

DFBD works seamlessly in-house with both DFCE & DFCG to ensure clients are offered a multi-disciplinary service which can be tailored to each project and client needs.

Assigned Certifier Specialists

DFBD provide full services in respect of the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014, including the roles of Assigned Certifier and Design Certifier.

DFBD can seamlessly guide clients through these onerous new regulations and help them achieve full compliance cost effectively and on time.

DFBD have experience in the Assigned Certifier role on multiple projects, including:

Masterplanning Services

DFBD (as part of the multi-disciplinary DFCG group) is excellently placed to deliver master planning services for your campus or proposed residential/ commercial/ mixed use project.

Our master planning discipline is led by the experienced Director Gary Thompson, who’s qualifications include BSc (Hons) Town Planning, and who has vast master planning experience.

Our ability to provide full AEC services will ensure your master plan benefits from all required service inputs, and will be commercially driven to provide the necessary returns to you and your business.

Fire Safety & Disability Access Certificates

DFBD has successfully completed Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates for a range of non-domestic, commercial and multi-unit residential projects.

Our approach will ensure cost efficient compliance with Technical Guidance Documents Part B & M of the Building Regulations is met, as well as any requirements of the local authorities.

DFBD will engage with all relevant disciplines to ensure a smooth and efficient services for fire safety and disability access certificates for all our clients.

Building Regulations Surveys

DFBD has extensive experience in all types of assessments and surveys on small, medium and large existing buildings to assess compliance with building regulations.

Underpinned by a extensive fundamental knowledge of practice and theory, our assessments are thorough and focussed on our Client’s objectives at all times.

REVIT BIM / 3D Visualisations

DFA offer an extensive range of services to any project that is carried out through BIM/REVIT. DFA can co-ordinate the provision of 3D images of a proposed project to assist clients to visualise their proposed building within the setting of the chosen site.
