Works Complete at Blackrock Cottage
D. Fallon Consulting Engineers (DFCE) were delighted to be involved in the recently opened Blackrock Cottage café & restaurant in Salthill in Galway.
DFCE worked closely with Sean Dockry & Associates Architects (Architects & Design Team Lead), EDC – Engineering Design Consultants Ltd (M&E Consultant), TC Estimating Services Ltd (Quantity Surveyors), and McHugh Property Holdings (Client) on this project.
Offering fantastic views of Galway Bay and the iconic Blackrock diving tower, and located at the end of the Salthill promenade, this project involved the restoration of the 19th century Blackrock Cottage, and construction of a modern extension housing a new café, restaurant, and exterior dining spaces.
